The Diacast: A Podcast About Diabetes

The Diacast is a podcast about diabetes, in the widest sense of the word. Join Type 1 diabetic Amy and Type 2 diabetic Liz as they explore how diabetes impacts relationships with food, exercise, mental health, medications, and many, many other parts of life. With an emphasis on science and mental health, The Diacast features guest episodes with medical experts, other diabetics, and tongue-in-cheek humor to answer the questions you didn't know you had in a relatable and (hopefully) informative way.

Liz, the co-host of "Diacast 2.0", was diagnosed with T2 in 2010. She currently manages with insulin, metformin, and Jardiance, in conjunction with diet and exercise, and uses a Libre. Liz is one of the former mods for the r/diabetes subreddit and likes playing with her greenscreen and her puppies (in that order).
